Jones & Shipman Joins Hardinge Group

Kellenberger & Co. AG, part of the Hardinge group, has acquired the assets of Jones & Shipman. As part of Hardinge—which, in addition to Kellenberger, includes grinding manufacturers Hasuer, Tschudin and Tripet—Leicester-based Jones & Shipman will continue to operate under its current management team as a UK-registered manufacturer of precision surface, cylindrical and creep-feed grinding machines. The company says benefits to customers include access to a wider product range and an enlarged worldwide support team as well as increased capacity for future product and process developments.
